For the 6th time Zed Russia provides the Russian government with SMS based service successfully implemented and operated in the TV program “Hotline with Vladimir Putin”. 840.000 messages with questions were sent via Zed’s SMS based service, Prime Minister Vladimir Putin answered more than 90 of them during the TV program.
Madrid – 2 April 2012 – Zed, leading global player providing multi-platform marketing solutions and innovative value-added content and services for mobile devices, proved its technical expertise and know-how to the Russian government for the 6th time. For the Q&A session “Hotline with Vladimir Putin”, broadcasted last December 15th, Zed implemented and operated the SMS based service for the public to send their questions right into the show.
“Do you think the recent elections were honest and the results fair?” “Do you think Russia needs fear?” “What does the word ‘Motherland’ mean to you?” “What do you dream of?” A total of approximately 2,3 MM questions on key socio-political issues were submitted to the program, 840.000 of which by SMS. The conversation with Vladimir Putin was broadcasted by Television networks Rossiya 1, Rossiya 24, RTR-Planet, Radio Stations Mayak, Vesti FM and Radio Rossii and lasted a record of 4 hours 32 minutes.
This year already broadcasted for the 10th time on Russian TV channels, it was the 6th time the program passed with the support of Zed. Now, the Ministry of Communications of the Russian Federation has sent a gratification letter to Zed expressing its gratitude:
“The Ministry of Communications of the Russian Federation expresses its sincere appreciation to Zed Russia for high professionalism and substantial contribution to the organization of preparation and conducting the annual "hot line" with the participation of the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.”
Zed is proud to have successfully fulfilled the expectations of operating this SMS based service, a technically complex project that demanded great expertise and know-how. To ensure fluid communication processes, a group of experts was dedicated during one month qualitatively constructing work with operators and gathering and processing all of the 840.000 messages received from the Russian public.
